Features & Specification
PDP P6-TWC 125 x 28.5 x 22.2mm Triple-Disc Wall Chasing Blade - Multi-Buy Options
The offset segment design of the P6-TWC creates a 30mm wide channel for the installation of conduit and pipework in popular construction materials, significantly reducing the need to chisel the centre of the chase. When used in conjunction with an appropriate dust extraction system (minimum of ‘M-Class’), it can dramatically reduce the amount of airborne dust and clearing up.
SUITABLE FOR USE ON:
Bricks - Class B Engineering
Bricks - Standard Facing Bricks
Concrete - General Purpose
Concrete Blocks - Lightweight 3 to 7 Newton
Concrete Blocks - Medium Density 7 to 12 Newton
Concrete Blocks - Solid Density 12+ Newton
Gritstone
Limestone
Sandstone - Abrasive
Tiles - Ceramic
York Stone
MACHINE SUITABILITY
125mm Wall Chasing machines
Metabo MFE40
DeWalt DCG200
Hilti DC-SE20 & DCH150-SL
Makita SG1251J
USAGE ADVICE:
Make certain the blade is suitable for the material before cutting
Always cut a straightline, do not attempt to change direction whilst cutting
In harder materials, it is advisable to cut the channel in two stages, going half depth on the first pass, before completing the cut at full depth. This will greatly reduce the load on the machine
Wall chasing creates a large amount go airborne dust. It is strongly advised that a dust extradition unit is used with a minimum specification of ‘M-Class’. This in addition to wearing the full and appropriate PPE.
