Versatile thanks to the system The OF 1400 is clamped to both guide columns. This means that the router is secured in place with absolute torsional rigidity. The routing result is perfect. Time-consuming rework is a thing of the past.Because of the long 70 mm routing stroke, working with large routing depths and templates or making recesses for fittings is particularly easy.

The OF 1400 router has a precise depth adjuster. It takes just a few seconds and minimal effort to finely adjust the routing depth accurate to a tenth of a millimetre using the dial.

The extraction bonnet with integrated LED light ring ensures clean working conditions and the best view of the milling area - shadow-free and precise. It is easy to fit and the LED light can be conveniently charged using the USB-C cable (not included).

The unique chip deflector ensures efficient dust extraction and guarantees maximum suction power when routing edges in combination with the dust extraction attachment and a Festool mobile dust extractor.

You can easily reach the on/off switch and the infinitely variable speed control without having to reach round. The ergonomically shaped bar handle ensures that the OF 1400 is guided safely and precisely.

Both guide rods are fixed in place at the same time via a single rotary knob. The parallel side fence can thereby be attached and detached in no time at all.

The convenient spindle stop with rocker and ratchet principle allows you to change the router at the speed of light without removing the key.

You can change the copying ring without tools. One click to release the ring – and replacing it is just as straightforward.

Thanks to the plug-it system, the device can be changed quickly – directly via the cable and not via the socket or extractor: One cable for all devices. And even if the cable breaks, it can be replaced quickly without any problems.
