What are Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode (3D Secure)? Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode (3D Secure) are the latest fraud prevention initiatives launched by Visa and MasterCard. Full details can be found from your card issuer.
3D Secure works in a similar way to Chip and Pin, by asking you to enter a unique password in order to complete your online order.
How does Sage Pay work? 1. You select the goods you wish to purchase from our website and enter your order and delivery details. 2. Your credit card details are captured securely by Sage Pay. 3. You will be prompted to enter your Verified by Visa or MasterCard Secure Code (3D Secure) password on your card issuer's page. 4. Our bank sends the credit card details to your card issuer who authorises or declines the transaction. 5. Our bank then sends the transaction results back to Sage Pay. 6. Sage Pay sends the authorisation results to us and to you to confirm the results of the transaction.
How does Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode work? You will be given the option to register your cards and/or verify your transaction, when purchasing from us. Once the you have entered your card details on Sage Pay’s hosted payment page you will be prompted (on the confirmation page) to register your card for 3D Secure (if you have yet to do so) or proceed with the transaction and enter the pin number you have set up for online transactions.
D&M Tools - Alternative Payment Methods
Whilst we can assure you that paying by credit card on our website is extremely safe, we understand that some people are hesitant to provide their credit card details over the internet. With this in mind, we provide various alternative payment options which still give you all the benefits of ordering online.
Order On-Line & Collect In Store & Pay If you would like to pay by credit card, but you do not want to supply your credit card details over the internet, we offer you the option of completing the order as normal through the website, then call in store to collect your order and pay.
BACS Payments For larger high value orders, we are happy to accept a BACS payments direct in to our bank account. For more details on this option please call our customer services number.
How? Select the goods you wish to purchase, by clicking the 'ADD' button next to each item, this will add the item to 'Your Basket', then click on 'YOUR BASKET' at the top of the page. Follow the on-screen instructions up to the point where you are asked for credit card details.
On this screen there is a button labelled 'Give Credit Card Details Over Phone'. Checking this button will enter 'PHONE' into the card number box and allow you to complete the order without entering credit card details. Then simply call 020 8892 3813 and we will take your card details over the phone.
Paying By Cheque. If you would like to pay for your order by cheque, you may complete the order as normal and then post a cheque to us.
Your goods will be sent out when your cheque has cleared. (Alternatively you can opt to transfer payment direct in to our bank account (details on request))
This would be a faster option if waiting for the cheque to clear is a problem.
(Note: From December 1st 2007 cheques can no longer be used instore to purchase goods)

There are two simple ways to order either by searching for a product and then select the quantity required then click 'ADD' this will add the item to 'YOUR BASKET'
Or if you know the `Stock Code` for the item you require, which can also be found in our Mail Order Catalogue, you can use the `Quick Order Facility` which will enable you to compile your order without the need to browse and select first. If you wish you can also combine using both to compile your order.
To view any items already selected in `YOUR BASKET` you can simply point your mouse at the `YOUR BASKET` located at the top of any page. Within the viewing area it is possible to remove items one at a time.
Purchase your goods by clicking on the `CHECKOUT` button in the pop up window. This will take you to our Secure Ordering System area, where you can either 'LOG IN' or 'CREATE ACCOUNT'. For delivery times please refer to the `Carriage Rates`

Carry on through the categories until you have found the products you are looking for. Once your order has been submitted your order confirmation will confirm your order. Please print this out and keep a copy for your records.
We will acknowledge receipt of your order by E-Mail detailing your order, date and time received.
When you receive your item you must check the packaging and contents, if at all damaged you must mark this on the delivery note ('DAMAGED') when signing. If you are unable to check the item please make sure you write ('UNCHECKED') when signing, if your item is damaged during transit and the above is not complied with, we will not accept any liability. All damage to items must then be reported to us by email, letter or telephone as soon as possible.
Customers are advised that heavy items will require the recipient to make the necessary arrangements to take delivery of the goods, the carrier will only deliver to the address instructed.
