THIS IS A MODERN UPDATE OF THE CLASSIC WOODFAST LATHE. WEIGHING IN AT 61KG MORE THAN THE MAXI-1 (270KG TOTAL) AND WITH AN EXTRA 1/2 HP (2HP TOTAL) THIS IS OUR HEAVIEST DUTY LATHE DESIGNED FOR PROFESSIONAL USE.

Many of the features and components are shared with its sibling and it too uses Schneider electronic speed control but the headstock is fixed so outboard turning is catered for on the rear of the headstock (left hand thread accessories will be required for this). The stability and power delivered by this machine mean even large out of balance timber and heavy, wet wood can be handled with ease and this design has been tried and tested all over the world for many years.
