SXE 450 Turbo Tec - 150mm base 350 Watt Random Orbital Disc Sander

The new SXE450 Turbo Tec boasts many new features over its predecessor.  It has more power, but at the same time is more compact and 500 g lighter. It also comes with a new Intec dust extraction unit plus new Turbo Boost switch.

  • New Turbo Boost switch boosts performance
  • Improved ergonomics and styling for greater working comfort
  • Improved gearing and bearing system reduces vibration by 25% for greater working comfort and safety
  • The orbit diameter range has increased from 3 - 6 mm to 2.8 or 6.2 mm giving a finer finish (2.8mm) and higher stock removal (6.2mm) capability allowing the machine to work harder to you don't have to.
  • Improved dust re-tension system through use of Metabo Intec filter cartridge

1. Knurred wheel for speed control - Precise and convenient speed regulation in six steps.
2. Removable additional handle - With the additional handle, the disc sander can be precisely guided with virtually no effort.
3. TurboBoost switch - For even more power: TurboBoost can be activated at any preselected speed. This enables maximum utilisation of reserve power.
4. Rubber-coated handle - For a secure grip during operation with less vibration.
5. Hexagonal spanner for changing the sanding plate - Practical storage with quick access.
6. Duo oscillating circuit - Enables quick switching from fi ne sanding to rough material removal.
7. Intec dust extraction unit - With a filter which can be cleaned and reused several times. The pleated filter is simply removed from the box for cleaning; the fi lter and the box are both very easy to clean.
8. Extraction adaptor nozzle for external dust extraction - Facilitates the easy connection of an external dust extraction system as an alternative.
