METABO BAS505 240VOLT BANDSAW CAST TABLE.

The previous BAS 505 has been re-vamped into the NEW BAS 505 PRECISION. The first thing you will notice is Metabo’s new striking new green livery, but we are not just talking about a new lick of paint here, so what else is new?
  • NEW motor pulley design with two cutting speeds. Primarily suited to cutting wood. Depending on the type of saw blades fitted, plastic, foam, aluminium profile and other soft non-ferrous metals may also be cut e.g. using blade 0909029210.
  • NEW high wall precision rip fence with sturdy quick cam lock. 
  • NEW Patented precision rack and pinion table bevel mechanism for adjustment from -2º to +47º.
  • NEW viewing window can be used to read off the band tension without needing to open the saw door. 
  • NEW handy storage depot for rip fence and mitre fence when not in use.
  • The thick and sturdy cast iron frame is retained for precision and rigidity as are the balanced heavy roller wheels with PU coating.
Metabo Tip! Use the new viewing window to help with your blade tensioning. Depending of the width of the blade each blade must be tensioned differently. We recommend that you release the tension off the blade if not using the bandsaw for long periods of time.
