The SYS-PowerStation provides power. Even where there would otherwise be none. As a high-performance energy storage solution, it allows users to be independent of traditional power sources, such as electrical outlet modules, generators or site distribution boards – to guarantee predictable everyday work. Without the need to find a power supply or the hassle of pulling cables, overloaded site distribution boards or problems with fuses switching off. With 3680 watts permanent power and up to 11,000 watts short-term power, it provides enough energy to power all mains-powered tools – even extractors, large saws and hammer drills – continuously with no losses of performance. Compact and mobile, it saves 1500 watt-hours of energy – for most applications, that is sufficient for a whole working day. Just like a normal 230 V electrical outlet module.

What is the intended use of the SYS-PowerStation?

The SYS-PowerStation offers enough power for all mains-operated 230 V tools. With 3680 watts permanent power and up to 11,000 watts short-term power, it even operates extractors, large saws and hammer drills continuously with no losses of performance. It stores 1500 watt-hours of energy – for most applications, that is sufficient for a whole working day. Perfect in combination with the extractor: It turns every extractor into a cordless machine and operates an additional tool at the same time via the electrical outlet module on the extractor. In short: It can be used in the same way as a normal 230 V electrical outlet module.

Can I really operate ANY machine with it (even products from other brands than Festool)?

Of course. Any 230 V machine can be operated with the SYS-PowerStation. Regardless of whether this is a Festool machine or a machine from another manufacturer. (The only exception: Machines that use the earth connection as a reference potential for additional functions – e.g. the TKS 80 for the SawStop technology. This is because the SYS-PowerStation does NOT offer an earthing facility.) The SYS-PowerStation is a high-performance energy store. It provides 3680 watts continuous output and also works under high loads without any voltage fluctuations or dips. We have tried out a lot – even competitors' products, which have an extremely high peak power during start-up and normally blow the fuse, work without any problems. Furthermore, the power quality is so good that it can even be used to operate electronically sensitive machines, such as laptops, televisions, or stereo systems without any problems.

For how many hours can I work with it?

• The SYS-PowerStation stores 1500 watt-hours of energy. This is enough for most applications for an entire working day. For example:
• Approx. 50 cut-outs can be created for a hob using the TS 55 with dust extraction and the PS 420 (for the corners).
• Approx. 560 cross-cuts are possible in parquet using the KS 60 with dust extraction. The corresponds to a total of approx. 112 metres cross-cutting.
• Approx. 3000 cross-cuts can be made individually using the HK 55 in pine solid construction timber, 40 x 98 mm.
• An extractor and PLANEX can be used to sand a surface of more than 200 m2.
• The SYSLITE Duo can be operated for more than 16 hours.
• Approx. 22 x 18 V 5.2 Ah battery packs can be fully charged.
• You can watch a 49 inch television for more than 30 hours. That corresponds to approx. 17 football matches, including half-time.
• Approx. 240 cups of espresso or 135 cups of coffee can be prepared using a capsule machine.
