Free standing radial arm saw with 507mm of crosscut capacity and 90 mm depth of cut

Simple yet positive controls and adjustment scales enable the width, depth and angle of cut to be set with accuracy in seconds

Key Engineering changes required to meet updated Machinery Directive EN1870-17:

1. Head Stock will not be allowed to rotate horizontally to 90 degrees. This means that RAS will not have the ability to rip cut.

2. The new blade guard will allow you to remove the blade without having to remove any part of the guard. This increases the user safety in the event the user accidently switches the machine on.

3. New ¡°dead man style switch¡± similar to their mitre saws introduced. Once you disengages the switch the machine will cut out and stop with in 10 seconds.

4. Mitre cuts standard 45 degrees left & right.

5. The back fence will be permanently fixed. The fence can still be replaced when necessary. The height increases to 60mm allowing the user better support.

6. The head stock will automatically return with in 3 seconds.

7. Improved dust extraction with a new dust shroud and larger table

Fence is now permanently in a fixed position. This ensures the blade is now behind the fence in the rest position.

The fence now spans the complete width of the table for increased support accuracy.

Fence height has increased to 60mm high for extra support and accuracy.

New Release handle locks headstock in the rest position. Increases the safety for the user when starting the machine

( Old machine rotated to 90 degree)
