After years of success with the much loved and widely copied HC260M Metabo has brought a new entry level thicknesser planer to the market.
Features:The HC 260 'C' incorporates all the favoured features of the M, but with subtle improvements that make it stand out from the crowd. The class leading 2.2 kW induction motor has been reworked to provide soft start and increased efficiency from 68% to 75%. The extra 145 watts of output power ensures the machines 3 mm planing depth can be fully utilised. The thicknessing bed is now made from solid cast iron, giving improved wear resistance and a lower centre of gravity for increased stability. Along with an improved switch design, thicker body castings, stronger, better positioned handles and three new micro switches the HC 260 C offers complete user safety.
The machine comes with two disposable planning blades as standard. Resharpenable blades, bed wax and wheel set available separately.
